Where will you work:

My Client  is a start-up, developing digital event platforms for online and hybrid events. With focus on interaction and experience. They develop each platform in the customer’s corporate identity. integrating various Live Stream and Video Call tools. The Clients are ranging from PVH, The Performance Theater and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The clients team is a small, creative & fun team from the city center of Leiden, driven by tight event deadlines so you should be able to deal with this high-pressure environment.?

What you are going to do:

We are looking for a person to lay the foundation. On this foundation you will build the team and automatically become the team lead. This means that in the pre-stages the focus will be more towards coding, whereas your focus will shift to guarding set standards and making sure the team delivers the set deadlines, coaching junior and medior (near-shore) developers and setting company the roadmap together with the management team.

You are the link between the creativity of the designer and the technique of the Back-end Developer. You ensure the impelmentation of the best technical solutions, but you also guard the customer’s needs and wishes regarding the front end look and feel. You propose the latest technology’s to make the platform look even better, always ensuring a user-friendly platform.

It’s important you take ownership and are a team player.

What experience do you have:

– At least 5 years of work experience as a Developer
– Extensive experience with VUE/JavaScript/Adobe Animate/HTML5
– Experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel
– Someone who works proactively and is communicative
– Someone with ambition to make Squares an even better platform
– Team player
– Ready to make the next step to team lead
