My Client  is a scale up developing digital awareness platforms  for various customers worldwide. They develop each platform in the customer’s corporate identity, integrating into the client IT environment ( AD).
The clients team is a small, creative & fun team based out of Utrecht, but during COVID times naturally remote, driven by a common goal to grow.The

What you are going to do:

We are looking for a person to lay the foundation for the version 2.0. of the software. The current software is at its limits, and they need you to help rebuild the software, and create it in such a way it fits the roadmap. You are responsible to match the roadmap on the technical side.

On this foundation you will build the team and automatically become the team lead for the team, trusted advisor for the directors and CTO to the clients. This means that in the pre-stages the focus will be more towards coding, whereas your focus will shift to guarding set standards and making sure the team you form delivers the set deadlines, coaching junior and medior (near-shore) developers and setting company the roadmap together with the management team.

You contribute to improvements of the overall platform and you help realize the roadmap. You know that there is always a technical solution to a problem and you do not shy away from it.

Currently the porduct is coded in PHP and Laravel.

Apart from someone with a solid vision on coding, we are looking for an inspirator, someone who wants to join the team for the next step, you will be the technical ‘brain’ on the team!

– At least 5 years of work experience as a Developer

– Extensive experience with PHP and frameworks such as Laravel

– Experience with GIT version management

– Someone with ambition to make Squares an even better platform

– Team player
